PhD Admissions under CUET Exam from Upcoming Year

Officials stated on Friday that starting with the 2024 academic year, the Delhi University would provide admission into PhD degrees through the Common University Entrance Test (PhD) administered by the National Testing Agency.
For the first time, the institution will accept applicants for PhD studies via a single test rather than through written exams and interviews. The choice was made at the Executive Council meeting, which also adopted a number of measures, including the five-year LLB plan.
According to a statement from the university, "PhD admission will be done on the basis of CUET (PhD)-2023 based on the recommendation of the Standing Committee of the Academic Council, and the same were also accepted by the Executive Council (EC) after discussions on various matters related to admission and attendance of Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD programmes for the academic session 2023–24.
In addition to admitting students into postgraduate studies through CUET PG, Delhi University (DU) began accepting applications through CUET-UG last year.
