IIT Kanpur campus placement 2022 begins

The placement season has begun at Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and December 1 marked the first day of campus placement for the academic year 2022-23 at IIT Kanpur. The session finished on a strong note, with 519 offers received from various worldwide and domestic recruiters.
There were 227 pre-placement offers among the 519 bids (PPOs). On day one, the highest domestic offer received was Rs 1.9 crore. At the conclusion of day one, 33 students had received offers for more than Rs 1 crore.
This season, top recruiters such as Capital One, SAP Labs, Rakuten Mobile, Enphase, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company, McKinsey & Company, and Square Point Capital, among others, came to campus to hire.
Last year, at the completion of phase 1 of the placement season, the top package was $ 287,550 for international and Rs. 1.2 Cr for domestic. This year, there was an overall increase in the packages given, as well as new recruiters joining the ranks.
