According to the results of the entrance exam for admission to the Indian Institutes of Management, the Common Admission Test (CAT), engineers continue to dominate the list of top scorers. On Wednesday, the final verdict was released.
The exam, which was held on November 27, attracted approximately 2.22 lakh applicants. 35% of the entire population was female, and 65% was male.The previous year, there was just one lady in this category. Additionally, 74.5% of the highest performers are engineers.
"CAT 2022 was successfully administered in three shifts at 293 exam centres spread across 154 Indian cities.In the top 55 scorers, who varied from 100 to 99.98 percentiles, there are four women.
The CAT committee announced in a statement that IIMs will now publish their shortlists for next admissions processes based, among other things, on the CAT 2022 scores.
