The registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 has officially commenced, marking the beginning of the journey for candidates aiming to secure admission into postgraduate engineering programs. The exam, conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, is scheduled for February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, with two sessions each day. Candidates have the option to appear for up to two different test papers.
To apply, candidates must visit the official GATE 2025 website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The application process, initially slated to begin on August 24, 2024, was delayed but is now active. The regular application window will remain open until September 26, 2024, with a late fee option available until October 7, 2024.

- Click on the GATE 2025 registration link on the homepage.
- Enter the required details to generate login credentials.
- Log in and complete the application form.
- Submit the form and download it for future reference.
Application Fees:
- For female, SC, ST, and PwD candidates: ₹900 (regular) / ₹1,400 (late)
- For all other candidates: ₹1,800 (regular) / ₹2,300 (late)
