Delhi Nursery Admissions 2023
December 02, 2022
The admission procedure for nursery classrooms in Delhi schools will begin today, December 1. Parents have until December 23 to submit applications on their children's behalf.
In comparison to last year, the admissions process begins over two weeks earlier this year. On January 20, the first list of chosen students will be announced, along with the list of students on the waiting list.
Following this, the second list of selected children will be released on February 6, and any following lists, if necessary, would be published on March 1.
The Delhi government's Directorate of Education hopes to complete the admissions process by March 17, 2023 this year.
The admissions process for entry-level admissions to Delhi's private schools, whether nursery, KG, or class 1, is underway. As of March 31, 2023, the highest age restriction for admissions is four, five, and six years for nursery, KG, and class 1, respectively.
Officially, all schools are supposed to reserve 22% of their places in entry level classrooms for EWS/DG pupils and 3% for children with special needs (CWSN). The DoE will handle admissions for them using a centralised 'draw of lots' mechanism.
