CBSE: The CBSE Class 10 Social Science paper under the ongoing CBSE Term 1 Exam 2021-22 was conducted in offline mode all across the country. The paper was scheduled between 11:30 AM and 01:00 PM. This was the first major paper for class 10 students however the board exams for minor papers have already been started from 17th November. We have got an expert analysis of today’s Class 10 Social Science Paper which was an MCQ-based paper. You will get to know how questions of varying difficulty levels were arranged in the paper to make it a balanced paper for all students.
As the first major exam, over 16 lakh students reportedly appeared for the first of its kind multiple choice based board exam. The first reactions of students have started to come in and the paper was said to be moderately tough.
All the questions were from the concepts and the NCERT Book. Therefore, a student could quickly answer all the questions if he/she had studied the NCERT Book thoroughly.

--> 62% of the students said- it was ‘Easy’.
* Which is the most challenging part of the paper?
--> 56% of the students said - Assertion-Reasoning
* What is the score expected?
--> 86% of the students said - above 70 marks
Overall, we can say it was an easy paper and any students thorough with the NCERT would be able to score 80% and above. Assertion-Reasoning MCQs were challenging to most of the students. An average score somewhere around 35.
